One of the innovative features of myTIPreport is the ease of reporting capabilities available to program administrators and faculty. Compared to other medical applications our service does not require you to install complex proprietary software or take courses on how to generate graphs and click-through reports. We provide a set of canned reports that are direct, insightful and valuable to your organization.
One of the features we were lacking was the ability to easily change the date ranges of a report and allow those date ranges to "persist" throughout the drilldown navigation. With our new updates we are giving you access to a pretty sophisticated control that allows you to select the desired date range and apply those globally to the report experience. We hope you love it!
It has been a month and our mobile apps are as hot as fresh Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. We knew this was one of the core adoption blockers to really propel growth but the reception has exceeded all of our expectations. The investment has been clearly worth it.
With the v1.1 release we are now bringing full support of medical evaluations. The new update allows teachers and learners to complete both milestone and procedure feedback. The update also brings many bug fixes and a new flow that is further optimized to get in and out of the app with efficiency.
With the end of the school year approaching we have been getting a lot of requests on how to phase out the graduating residents and fellows. Programs want to retain all of the learner's data for auditing purposes, and at the same time be able to mark them as not eligible to continue to receive feedback.
When residents/fellows graduate or faculty leave the program we advise admins to effectively archive those users. In today's deployment we have enabled the ability for program admins to mark users inactive. This will "hide them" from the active user list, achieving a virtual archive, and also make room for the next incoming class of learners.
Working towards being a paid application was critical to our team because it allows us to guarantee the long term success of myTIPreport, and bring constant feature innovation with unparalleled customer support. It is also important to highlight that myTIPreport is a non-profit service, and its revenue goes towards covering current/future development and hosting costs.
Let's take a deeper look at institution/program accounts and the applicable subscription plans.
At CREOG & APGO many faculty and residents approached us about getting the power of myTIPreport on their mobile device. There were a variety of reasons, from IT departments blocking our site, to ease of adoption, to familiarity and availability of the data virtually anywhere. Today, we are happy to announce the general availability of our iPhone and Android apps.
In order to get this into your hands as soon as possible, for our first release we decided to scope the functionality to Milestone evaluation assessments. The apps are very intuitive to use and optimize the ability to perform an evaluation as quickly as possible. Download them now and let us know what you think.
We are excited to announce that in our latest release we have completed this feature. Let's walk through a couple of scenarios to highlight how to take advantage of this functionality.
The week leading to and after our launch at the CREOG & APGO annual meeting have been an inspiring experience. We have received a significant amount of support from programs, with up to 130+ institutions wanting to sign up. This adoption response was bigger than we ever imagined and we are working hard to onboard all those that have replied with their faculty/resident data.
myTIPreport is Built by_Educators for Educators and this is what makes it unique. That mission forces a culture that values an open dialog with our customers about the application and its features in full transparency. With this in context we wanted to share some of what we have learned and next steps.
The way we teach and learn is always evolving, morphing and improving. At its very core, education is about not staying static. It pushes you to embrace change, seek knowledge and redefine barriers. It supports and motivates you to attain the highest possible contribution levels as a human being.
At the same time, many of our education tools today lag in their ability to assist both teachers and learners. They are poorly designed for ease of use and productivity. They lack reliability and customization. They are often commercialized and struggle to incorporate a continuous feedback loop that delivers constant improvement and innovation. We can do better.
