On November 4th, 2014, myTIPreport was used for the first time to send feedback from a faculty member to a resident. Over the past 5 years, spreading mainly by word-of-mouth, myTIPreport has grown to be used by 300+ programs across 150+ institutions and 35+ specialties. Just in the last month, myTIPreport was used to send feedback to learners almost 12,000 times. For the team here at myTIPreport, the past 5 years have been incredibly rewarding, and we want to share a little bit about the growth along the way as well as what comes next.

By The Numbers

Late last month, our 300,000th evaluation was submitted. Here’s what the journey to 300,000 looked like:

Out of all of the many great numbers and trends that we’ve seen over the years, the one that we’re proudest of is our renewal rate. myTIPreport subscriptions are renewed a year at a time. Over the past 5 years a Program Director has been faced with the choice to renew a paid subscription or let it expire 569 times. Here’s what they’ve chosen to do:

That works out to a 92% renewal rate for paid subscriptions. We take pride in delighting customers and that number makes us incredibly proud.

A New Blog

Medical educators across many specialties are doing interesting and innovative things using myTIPreport as they look to implement Competency Based Medical Education in their programs. Further, the myTIPreport phone apps and web platform are gaining new capabilities each day. It’s time that we started talking about all of this more openly so that other educators can learn from, reuse, and build upon, the great work that is happening on the myTIPreport platform. This blog, and our twitter account will be the mechanisms for doing that.
