Ad-hoc Teaching Feedback Workflow

myTIPreport has just enabled support for students, residents, and fellows to submit teaching feedback for faculty members on-demand from the myTIPreport app and website. Back in May when we launched the new teaching feedback module, providing teaching feedback could only be initiated as a response to the learner receiving or requesting feedback, or an administrator assigning them a feedback request. This new functionality is enabled by default for new installations of the teaching module. For those already using the teaching module, it can be enabled by following the directions here.

This not only makes it easier for learners to initiate feedback but it also allows them to have more control over the type of feedback they submit. They’ll be able to choose any of the available forms to provide feedback on:

This enables workflows for them to provide feedback on custom teaching-related templates, such as didactics presentation skills, that a program creates on its own.
