The myTIPreport Blog

Quickly Access Feedback Sent

Recently we’ve been working with Dr. Barbara Blok and Dr. Bonnie Kaplan who run the Emergency Medicine Residency at University of Colorado and Denver Health to develop a milestone-aware, daily shift evaluation that works in the myTIPreport app. We’ll have more to share on how that will work in the next week or two. A core component of the workflow though enables the following:

  1. At the end of the shift when the faculty member is with the resident they’ll fill out 4 shift-specific questions using a rating scale that assesses resident-independence.
  2. Optionally allow the faculty member to come back later when they have more time to write or dictate qualitative comments and attach them to the evaluation.

In previous versions of myTIPreport, viewing the feedback you’ve sent wasn’t intuitive and it required a number of clicks. To better enable this scenario, we’ve streamlined the experience so that viewing sent feedback is a single click after logging in. This improvement builds on our other recent feature that speeds up loading past evaluations.

Since this feature is potentially useful for anyone submitting feedback, we’ve enabled it for everyone. These changes are present in version 3.16.2 of the app that was released recently. That version will roll out to everyone automatically over the next few weeks. If you want it sooner you can manually update your app via the app store on your device.
