Gather Feedback for Teachers

We’re thrilled to announce that myTIPreport now supports gathering feedback for teachers from learners! Enabling the Teaching channel in your account will create a few new entry points that allow learners to submit feedback for teachers completely anonymously. Each time a learner submits a request, they’ll see an option to send feedback on the faculty member they worked with:

They’ll see a similar option when reviewing feedback sent to them by a teacher:

Quick Action on Evaluation

At any point, administrators can bulk assign requests to learners for a given faculty member. And, using a little magic, myTIPreport can automatically suggest the learners that feedback should be solicited from based on previous evaluation encounters:

Further, for programs using the Rotations functionality in myTIPreport, requests for teaching feedback can be configured to automatically be sent to learners at the end of a rotation.

Pre-built Forms

The Teaching channel comes preloaded with evaluation forms that make getting started quick and easy.

Forms Summary

The “Core Skills” set of forms allows for focused feedback on specific teaching competency areas. The “Rollup Forms” allow taking those same questions and grouping them together for gathering the correct type of feedback based on the type of encounter. And, just like with other channels in myTIPreport, each program can modify questions on the forms, or add completely new forms, as they need.

Reviewing Feedback

Feedback is immediately available to administrators and they choose when and how to release this information to their teachers. Similar to other learner feedback channels, aggregations happen in real-time and it’s easy to quickly view all of the feedback for a teacher over a time range.

More to Come

While we’re excited about enabling the power of myTIPreport to assess and grow teachers, this is just the start. We have a number of features planned over the coming months to make this module even more useful. If you have specific features that you’d like to see, please reach out to us at [email protected].
