Import Questions From One Evaluation Form Into Another

When building an evaluation form that spans a number of competencies, such as end-of-shift, end-of-week, and end-of-rotation evaluations, ideally that form would be made up of elements from other, competency-specific evaluations. Up until now, achieving that meant duplicating content across forms and it meant that data submitted in one form couldn’t be used for summary or insights calculations in the related forms.

Today we are announcing a new feature that will make it easier to build these types of evaluations. In the evaluation form building process, it is now possible to import some, or all, of the questions in one evaluation form into another:

Building forms in this manner has the following benefits:

  1. Any updates made to the form being imported will automatically be reflected in the form doing the import without having to make additional changes.
  2. Data submitted to an evaluation form that imports other forms allows both the current form and imported forms to use the data that is submitted for summary level and insight calculations. For example, an end-of-rotation form that imports 3 milestone competency assessments allows those 3 milestones to be evaluated in a single evaluation AND allows each of those 3 milestone sub-competencies to use the data submitted for their milestone level calculations.
